Creative Pre-Dance
This class offers foundations in dance styles for our youngest students.  Classes teach basic vocabulary and steps for both ballet and tap, plus they learn
about class structure, musicality, and rhythm.  Most importantly, they have fun with movement games, use of their imaginations and learning routines.

Ballet
Ballet is a classical form of dance.  Ballet is the basis of all dance forms, for it teaches proper control, technique, strength, and flexibility.  Classes teach
terminology, include barre work, and combinations to both nurture and challenge our students.

Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop is a popular form of dance today. It is seen in many music videos, movies, and stage shows. It originates from the Hip-hop culture and includes
breaking, locking, and popping. Our classes use a jazz based technique combined with popular, family friendly, hip-hop music allowing students to have
fun and be creative.

Jazz
Jazz dance is an energetic and dynamic way of moving. It can be controlled and slow or sharp and explosive. Classes teach basic jazz dance technique,
terminology and movement focusing on proper execution of jazz isolations, rhythms and styles performed to a variety of music.

Lyrical
Lyrical dance is based on the techniques used in ballet, modern, and jazz dance. The name lyrical comes from the word "lyrics" because dancers often
use the lyrics of a song to inspire them to do certain movements or show expression.  Although now a days the musicality of an instrumental song can also
be influential.

Pointe
A form of dance in which a student with years of Ballet training extends that strength onto the tips of her toes.  Instead of soft ballet slippers the dancer
wears shoes reinforced with a box constructed of layers of strong glue between layers of material.  Pointe shoes are given at the discretion of the teacher.

Tap
Tap focuses on rhythms and intricate footwork, using the dancers feet as a percussion instrument. Classes focus on strengthening basic tap technique
and terminology while highlighting the importance of rhythm and sound. Like Fred Astaire, tap can be light on the feet or like Savion Glover, it can be
grounded with an urban street style.

Zumba
Developed by Colombian fitness trainer, Beto Perez; It is an aerobic fitness program inspired by Latin and international music and dance.
